Wines of Tenerife - Spain

The wines of Tenerife are exclusive products of excellence, which are now starting to be known outside the archipelago with a very special climatic context in which they are created. The climate and geology of the island give it unique qualities to a wine production of remarkable variety. The volcanic soil gives the wines from this exotic destination, a unique and distinct character which is recognizable. The vineyard plots are between 50 and 1.400 meters above sea level. We are talking about a production of a few million bottles.

The Canary Islands are experiencing an important wine-making season, thanks to the adoption of modern technologies adopted in the last 20 years that has led to a revival of the wine sector. The white, red and rosé wines are now ready to conquer their own little space in the current global market.

In recent years, they have received international awards. We take care of the wines of the five Denominations of Tenerife: Abona, Tacoronte-Acentejo, Valle de Güimar, Valle de la Orotava and Ycoden-Daute-Isora.

The wines selected by Baco y Vino, are produced by small companies that, at the foot of Mount Teide, on the terraced vineyards and breathtaking views, become true oenological jewels.
