TECHNICAL NOTE: After the harvest in the first week of October, it ferments on the skins for a period of 6-7 days heightening the floral and elegant components typical of this structured grapevine. The following maturation in barrique, as always in contact with lees until August, makes it gentle ready to bottling without any filtering.
It’s the wine that comes from the creative inspiration of the producer.
After 10 days of fermentation, the wine is put for 6-8 month in regenerated barrique, then continue for a first refining and decanting inside inox tank for all winter time. In the beginning of second year, it is bottled without filtering and rests some month in dark storehouse before selling.
This is the producer's wine, dedicate to FRAncesco and ALESsandra, his son and his daughter, that with they character well represent the spirit of this land.
TASTING NOTES: Deep ruby red color, start with a large soft aroma, sweetness that defines his blackness. A melange of olfactory, balm mint and vanilla cassis between that force and intensity in the expression for the crystallinity, the liveliness, the novelty, the sharpness of the scent of the fruit. Really relax and open up her creamy on the palate, with a touch of viscosity tannins are wrapped in softness and spicy aroma.The aroma is broad and delicate, characteristic, slightly spicy with hints of violet and mineral nuances. On the palate it is dry, with a good body, rightly tannic.
